Plexis (Πλέξις)
Next-Gen Edge C2

Plexis is next-generation edge C2 that transforms tactical edge devices like drones and sensors into collaborative nodes within a decentralized network. By moving orchestration directly to the edge, it eliminates vulnerable central hubs, enabling real-time state sharing and autonomous functionality for resilient Multi-Domain Operations.

Plexis: Distributed Edge C2

The Problem: Centralized Fragility
‍
Current Command and Control (C2) frameworks are built on a "Hub-and-Spoke" model that was designed for an era of predictable battle rhythms, leaving them ill-equipped for modern, large-scale combat operations (LSCO).

▶︎ Single Point of Failure (SPOF): Legacy systems rely on centralized hubs or "master" servers. If a primary command node or a satellite link is neutralized, the entire local network collapses, leading to a total loss of situational awareness.

▶︎ "Cloud-Out" in Contested Zones: Most modern C2 systems (like early JADC2 iterations) require persistent "reach-back" to centralized cloud servers. In Denied, Degraded, Intermittent, and Low-bandwidth (DDIL) environments, these systems lag or fail completely.

▶︎ Hardware Lock-in & Data Silos: Many systems are monolithic, requiring proprietary specialized hardware. This creates "data silos" where information cannot flow seamlessly between different nations or branches (e.g., NATO allies using disparate systems).

▶︎ Human-Bottlenecked Swarming: Coordination of unmanned assets currently requires high-bandwidth links to human operators. This prevents true autonomous swarming, as machines cannot yet "negotiate" mission states locally without human intervention.
‍
The Solution: Plexis Decentralized Intelligence
Plexis solves these systemic vulnerabilities by replacing the central hub with a high-concurrency, peer-to-peer (P2P) mesh, powered by Diarkis middleware.

▶︎ Distributed Self-Healing Mesh: Plexis eliminates the "Master" node. Every UAV, USV, vehicle, and handheld device acts as an active participant in the network. If a node is destroyed, the network automatically reroutes and synchronizes the Common Operational Picture (COP) across all remaining peers.

▶︎ Edge-Native Autonomy: Plexis is designed to thrive in DDIL environments. Because the "intelligence" is hosted at the tactical edge, the swarm maintains its mission state and coordination even when completely disconnected from the broader enterprise cloud.

▶︎ Hardware Agnostic "Software-Defined" C2: By using an API-first, microservices-based architecture, Plexis runs on standard COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) hardware. This allows for rapid, modular scaling across any platform without needing proprietary equipment.

▶︎ Autonomous Swarm Orchestration: Leveraging Diarkis’ proven ability to handle millions of real-time state changes, Plexis enables Machine-to-Machine (M2M) coordination. Assets autonomously share target data and mission roles (e.g., Recon to Jammer to Strike) in milliseconds, acting as a single, intelligent entity.

Real-time data aggregation and distribution across multiple sources. Enhanced decision-making through improved visibility and coordination.

Plexis:
Distributed
Edge-Native Autonomous Orchestration

Plexis modernizes defense and public infrastructure by shifting the paradigm from centralized control to distributed intelligence. Current systems often rely on fragile, "hub-and-spoke" architectures where a single point of failure can paralyze an entire operation. Plexis leverages the Diarkis decentralized middleware to turn every asset into an active, self-healing participant in the network.

Edge-Native Infrastructure

Decouples C2 operations from traditional, centralized cloud dependencies, allowing the entire system to be hosted directly in austere or contested environments (the tactical edge).

Hardware Agnostic

Operates entirely without the need for proprietary or specialized hardware, enabling rapid deployment on existing commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) devices or standard military-issue compute systems.

High Fault Tolerance

Employs a fully distributed network architecture that inherently eliminates the Single Point of Failure (SPOF) vulnerabilities found in legacy C2 hubs.

Forward Deployability

Ensures continuous, localized command and control directly on the battlefield, maintaining operational readiness and data synchronization even in degraded or disconnected network conditions.

Technical Capabilities

Built on a foundation of cutting-edge technology designed specifically for government-grade requirements.
